The Process:
Our concrete countertop refinishing process begins with a thorough cleaning to remove any dirt and grime buildup and remove the old sealer. We then sand the surface to remove any imperfections and scratches before using a combination of concrete slurry or epoxy to fill in any deep divets or scratches that may be present. The next step in refinishing your concrete countertops is to apply a stain if needed to restore the original color. Finally, the countertops are cleaned one last time and then sealed with multiple coats to help protect the newly polished surface. Care and Maintenance:
After we refinish your concrete countertops, the following tips will help you care for them as best as possible.
- Clean up water and spills quickly
- Clean counters daily with a mild soap and water and a soft rag or sponge
- Use a trivet when working with hot pans and pots
- Always cut on a cutting board, never directly on the counter
